10-27-07 Incident # 13761 at 20:07, Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue crews responded to the Vehicle accident on Rt. 1 just south of the Spotsylvania Parkway in Spotsylvania
Co. Va. A Virginia State Trooper was traveling south on
Rt. 1 when he saw a vehicle traveling in the northbound lanes of Rt. 1 at a high rate of speed. While trying to turn around to pursue the vehicle traveling north the trooper was hit by a vehicle traveling south on Rt. 1. The Virginia State Trooper and the driver of the other vehicle were treated at the scene. This accident is under investigation by The Virginia State Police

07-21-07 Incident # 9323, At
15:21 Spotsylvania Vol. Fire crews responded to a brush fire on Aberdeen Ct. in Spotsylvania Co. Va. As the crews were arriving they could see the smoke. Kids in the neighborhood were setting off fireworks and started the fire. The fire crews quickly had the brush fire under control/

04-04-06 Incident # 06-4088 at 09:49 AM
Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue crews responded to a vehicle accident on Partlow Road in Spotsylvania Co. Va. The driver of the truck was traveling north on Partlow Road and ran off the right side of the road breaking a mail box then she over corrected and crossed over into the south bound lanes of Partlow Road ending up on the side of the road. A Aircare Helicopter had to be called in to transport the driver.

03-31-06 Incident # 06-3880 at 13:19
Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue crews along with Fredericksburg Tower 1 responded to a townhouse fire on Fountain Bridge Ct. in Spotsylvania Co. Va. Wagon 4 was the first to arrive on the scene to find heavy smoke and fire coming through the roof of the townhouse.
Work Force: Wagon 1, Squad 1, Tower 1, Squad 4, Engine 8, Medic 6-1, Medic 8-2, BC 1, BC 4, BC 6, Chief 1, Unit 1, FM 3, Fredericksburg Tower 1 and Va State Trooper Sgt.

03-18-06 Spotsylvania Vol. Fire crews along with mutual aid from Caroline Co. responded to a brush fire on Winfield CT. off Rt. 17 in Spotsylvania Co. Va.
A fire tractor form the Virginia Dept. of Forestry had to be called in to help battle the brush fire. There were 2 other brush fire going on at the same time in the county.
Work Force: Wagon 4, Brush 1, Squad 1, Tanker 1, Brush 8, Tanker 3, Chief 1, Chief 2, Upper Caroline Tanker 6 and Va . Dept. of Forestry Tractor.

03-10-06 A single vehicle hits a tree on Ridge Rd. in Spotsylvania Co. Va. and burst into flames. By the time fire crews arrived on the scene the driver was gone.

03-10-06, Spotsylvania Fire and Rescue crews responded to a vehicle accident on Courthouse Road at Meeting Place in Spotsylvania Co. Va. When Squad 1 arrived on the
scene they found that one vehicle had rolled over and the driver was ejected from the vehicle. The driver died at the scene.

02-05-06, Incident # 06-1453 at 14:52 Spotsylvania Vol. Fire and Rescue crews responded to a commercial water flow alarm at 4900 Ondura Rd. in Spotsylvania Co. Va. (
Tallant Industries ) When the first fire crews arrived on the scene they were met with heavy smoke coming from sides A & B of the building. They quickly called for mutual aid from Chancellor Vol.
Fire Dept. and a Tower from the City of Fredericksburg Va.
